Kid Made: A Party Invitation

Yep, we have another party coming up.  The middle 2 kids birthdays are 3 weeks apart.  So summer is party central here!  :)  Anyway, this year I let Kalla design her invitations.  She is having a unicorn/rainbow party for her 7th birthday.  So I had her draw a picture.  Then I wrote out all the details and had her rewrite them with crayons in her handwriting on a separate piece of paper.  Then I scanned both into our computer.  I used our publisher program to size them.  I then printed multiple copies on white cardstock.  I cut them out and taped them down on printed paper to fit our 5X7 envelopes (you can find plain envelopes at Hobby Lobby).

We are now in the midst of putting together party favors and making decorations.  It's been fun to include her in all of the party preparations now that she's SO BIG!
