Pumpkin Farm pics (and 2 custom pumkin-y outifts)

Here's the 6 of us at the farm. We had a ton of fun. This farm is like the disneyland of all pumpkin farms. The kids and I definitely look forward to coming here all year long.

For the 'crafty' portion of this post. Here are the two sets I made for the girls to wear. I made Kalla jumper top with applique pumpkins and triple ruffled jeans (of the green dot that you can't see here.)Stripwork jumper dress for Maressa with a little pumpkin applique on the front.

As for the rest of this post, here are a small portion of the pics I took. :P

Playing on the playground:

Petting the animals:

Playing/jumping in the corn cribs:

Even daddy gets in.

Hayride to pick our pumpkins:

Can you tell Micah had fun???

Picking just the right pumpkin:

Taking a plethora of pictures (but mom, the sun is in my face!):

And getting exhausted!

Whew! We're still recovering and Micah is now sick sick sick. :(

The pumpkin outfits are so precious. I'm glad I'm not the only mom that has my children complaining about the sun in their eyes during photo shoots! Looks like you all had a fabulous time, Beth

Those outfits are GORGEOUS! They are so whimsical. That's my favorite children's clothing attribute! Well done!

First and foremost, your children are adorable and very photogenic! Second, the outfits you made are so very nice. It certainly looks like tons of fun was had by all.

Last, but not least, you simply must share where you got the pumpkin hat for your little girl. If it's made by you, can you steer me where to get the pattern? It's perfect for the pumpkin outing!

Thank you so much for the comments! The pumpkin hat and leggings are Gymboree (I don't knit or crochet, though I'd love to learn!). I rarely buy whole outfits there, but accessories to the stuff I make. :) I was so glad it was cold enough to wear the hat....she's so bald it was nice to have something keep her head warm!

awww you kids are all so cute! :) And I love the idea of adding ruffles to the bottoms of jeans. Looks like you had a wonderful day, it made me want to roll around in the corn kernels too! :P

I've just stumbled on your blog by accident, and can I say that seeing your little girl in her pumpkin hat & dress has just made my day LOL. Very, very cute!! Great sewing BTW :)
