More holiday fun

It's been a busy time around here. We had a party of some sort every day last week! A week ago Saturday, I got the pleasure of taking Kalla to the Nutcracker. Was the first time for both of us.
We went to a tea room for lunch with another mommy and K's friend, Emma. Then to the Nutcracker where she sat mesmorized in the second row of all those ballerinas. She did inform me that the 'fairies' didn't have their wings. lol It was a wonderful afternoon with my special girl (though Z was quite jealous, even though him and daddy had their own fun and plan to go skiing just the two of them this year). Then our family went to a holiday party that night at a friend's house (with far too many yummies...you coulda rolled me out of there!).

Monday we had our own holiday dinner for some out of town friends (missionary's from Kazakstan..sp?) and our regular bible study group...so it was a nice full house for the evening with yummy food and plenty of fellowship.
Tuesday was a ladies holiday party that morning. We had record highs here this past week....78 on Tuesday!! So we took the kids out after dark and walked the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights. That was fun!

Wednesday was Z's class party, Thursday we had parties in both of Z and K's music classes. Friday was Kalla's school party. Saturday we had off and yesterday we had a lunch thing at the church where Matt is involved with the hispanic congregation.

This week is calmer in the party department...just one at Matt's work for lunch on Thursday. We hope to hit Santa's Village tomorrow night where they have snow, a live reindeer and cookie making and stories. We leave for my sister's on Saturday, so just a bunch of cleaning, laundry and finishing up gifts I'm making...hope to picture them soon! :)
