As far as painting here are my completed parts! I am almost done painting our bedroom green and I painted a faux headboard for our monsterous king sized bed. I got the idea from The summer issue of Blueprint magazine. The template for the shape is on Martha's website. I bought the large paisley stencil from Hobby Lobby.
Here is Kalla's room. It is very pink...as in pepto pink! I used an old mirror that I had no place to put and FIL bolted it to the wall for a dress up/dance mirror. She got the whole shabby chic bedding set for her birthday and I bought an extra sheet set to make bubble style valance and bedding for her doll bed.
Here is the other side. Still a little plain, but I plan to add details later.

Now here is the kids bathroom. There was so much wall I just didn't know what to do. So I painted giant monkeys on them! One for each kid.

Love the Monkeys on the wall. What a creative and cute idea!
Oh and the faux headboard - neat! I looked for the the link to that on Martha's site but didn't find it. I'd like to do something like that in our guest room.
