Another doll and another dress

Another little girly birthday. This time it's a first birthday. I made the birthday girl a black apple doll in her image, down to the bow in her hair.

And a funky little twirl dress and baby legwarmers. The mom has just become a fan of Matilda Jane so hopefully this eclectic set will suit her style. She still struggles a bit with the idea of everything not matchy matchy perfectly (read Gymboree). I think she'll like this though.
