Nature walk and chalk therapy

After a rough week last week, we tried to take it easy this weekend. Yesterday we enjoyed the nice weather and went for a nature walk.
Zachary picked things for me to take pictures of so he could share the things that God made with his bible class next Sunday. Yesterday he had a baseball game as well. He made his first run of this season (we are half way through a short fall ball season) as he is now in coach pitch in Little League which has been a more competitive transition from tee ball.
Then we spent the rest of the evening hanging out on the drive way. I didn't have any homemade lemonade, but we chilled out with a dose of sidewalk chalk.
I made the giant letters of their name and they enjoyed coloring them in.
Kalla is big into rainbows and lots of colors. :)

I even got some time in my sewing room. Zachary really loves his baby sister and entertaining her. As much as he quarrels with the others, it's so amazing how he is so gentle and kind with Maressa.

And another token picture of our miniature entertainer. :)
